As a co-regulatory industry association, ANZRP has a clear mandate to deliver critical e-product stewardship services on behalf of our members.
We have been a market leader for the safe and responsible collection and recycling of e-waste in Australia since 2012. Sustainability is a core part of what we do and who we are.
ANZRP is aware of the social and environmental challenges that the world is facing, and our responsibility to tackle these challenges. We are committed to building on what we already do, growing our positive contribution, as well as ensuring that we operate and work sustainability.

OUR SUSTAINABILITY COMMITMENTS
In July 2023, ANZRP launched its three-year sustainability plan which sets out goals and a clear action plan.
The plan demonstrates our ambition to always strive to go beyond compliance – delivering community education and engagement, advocating for improvements in our industry, and exploring business models that apply our circularity expertise to new sectors. We undertake e-waste recycling to the highest standards to protect our member’s brands and enhance their reputations.

Audit and support our partners to meet their regulatory obligations
- Recyclers audited in accordance with the approved ANZRP audit schedule with audit findings shared on each occasion to strengthen outcomes
- Addition of audit protocols to strengthen due diligence on downstream management practices
- 69 findings across 5 recyclers identified, with proactive and regular engagement to work collaboratively with recyclers to improve their processes to meet the requirements of the findings and uphold the NTCRS

A CERTIFIED B CORP – MEETING A HIGH SUSTAINABILITY STANDARD
ANZRP is a proudly certified B Corp – a voluntary certification scheme for organisations who aim to demonstrate higher standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.
As a not-for-profit that holds itself to the highest standards, certifying as a B Corp provides an objective measure of our performance. We’re proud to be part of this global movement that uses business as a force for good.
In July 2023, we were able to recertify as a B Corp, and achieve a record score of 109.2 thanks to the efforts of our team to improve ANZRP’s operation and build our positive contribution.
Overall B Impact Score
Based on the B Impact assessment, Australia and New Zealand Recycling Platform earned an overall score of 109.2. The median score for ordinary businesses who complete the assessment is currently 50.9.
