ANZRP & PonyUp for Good visit ACE Recycling

ANZRP has enjoyed a productive partnership with PonyUp for Good for over two years which has not only resulted in the reuse and recycling of information technology equipment, it has also helped to avoid food waste and has ensured healthy meals could be provided to those most in need. In fact, PonyUp for Good recently reached a notable milestone, being the delivery of 1,000,000 meals since its inception, through SecondBite, Australia’s largest free food rescue organisation.

The initiative has drawn considerable interest from clients of ANZRP and PonyUp for Good, who wanted to gain a better understanding of the e-waste recycling process. To facilitate this, ANZRP worked with PonyUp for Good to conduct a tour of the Ace Recycling facility in Melbourne, through which significant volumes of old television and computer equipment are recycled under ANZRP’s direction. The visit enabled ANZRP and PonyUp for Good to showcase the rigorous recycling processes and compliance programme undertaken to drive high quality and effective outcomes.
